I was a guest not an applicant, but I thought these few quick points may help othere as it is quite crowded. There were aboit 10,000 folks at the ceremony today, and seating for guests actually ran out.

First is the check in process. It is a bear, and they purposefully make you go through slow so as not to storm the main area, so be prepared for it. You are in ac, but you will be in very close quarters with other guests for a good hour. You may want to get there early because as far as I could tell, not every guest was able to get in. I am not sure about this though?

You enter the security from the back side of the convention center, and you will exit from the front (near the stairs).

No water past security unless sealed bottle.

No cameras! This really suprised me. Our particular judge did not approve of cameras, ao anyone that had a camera that "was specifically designed for only taking photos" had to return it to the car or miss the ceremony. Cell phones, ipads were ok, but no laptops.

Parking looked like it ranged anywhere from $10 to $20 dollars. I parked in the West lot on Georgia street and it was $10.

If you think you need to get there an hour early, I would honestly say double it and get there 2 hours early. Little things from finding stuff to parking add up. We actually had the previous ceremony coming out when we arrived (the previous ceremony was late), so it was very confusing trying to figure out where to go.

Get a tetnus shot is you have a bacon wrapped hot dog. That is not fair actually, just a joke. Nice folks selling them and I recommend the ones with onions and bell peppers.

Thanks again to everyone for their help. Honestly, I think we would have missed our oath ceremony without the help of people here.
