As the originator of the post I want to thank everyone for many insights. The newspaper article posted was helpful too.

For those who are wondering why we got married so far along in the process ..... it was a judgement call ... we love each other and want to be together ... also we wanted a wedding in the Philippines... might have been an error in judgement though... I guess we can all benefit from shared experiences
