Hi Guys

Almost at the final stage of the process. Had the interview. Everything seemed in order the only thing they asked for are air tickets. Which is fine and I can send those in a couple of days. The Problem is we cant figure out what dates to choose. Shifting is a big and we want to arrange some money before travelling which could take some time. Also I cant leave work instantly and would need to hire and train my replacement. If we get the visa tomorrow we could aim for end September to wrap up things . However this is if everything goes perfectly. It could potentially longer once we start wrapping things up specially selling some investments and assets which could take weeks.

We are debating getting a ticket for early October and hope that the visa comes in the next couple of weeks. However if the visa is late we would have to alter our plans accordingly . This would mean changing the tickets the ones we have submitted to the embassy.  Would this cause problems at the embassy or the POE.

you typically have 6 months from when they issue the visa to use it. just make it for October and tell your company here is my last day I can train someone if you like but I'm leaving on this date.
