Waiting for Oath letter in Chicago! Filed in Aug 2014

My wife has been waiting for oath letter since Dec 12th. She passed her interview and received recommended approval letter! She asked the IO if she could have her oath ceremony bit sooner as we have a travel scheduled in March 2014. The IO told her she would receive letter in mail. There was one in end of DEC but they were instructed by supervisors not to send anyone in for that ceremony.

Have any of you given interview at CHicago office?

The uscis.gov is not updated as it still says interview scheduled.

Can she request expedited ceremony ? she doesn't have a passport and her RP is expired.

Although my office is San Antonio but we have all other in common. My interview was also on dec 12 and approved. Still no status update change. Officer said I should get oath letter in mail in 30 days. I have international travel planned for next month. I might visit office after Jan 12.

The gov is busy legalizing (unlawful aliens) than taking care of the paying lawful legal immigrants I guess!

I tried to call one time and she said that a letter will be sent sometime in January 2015.

Please keep us updated when you get the Oath letter. I will also post here if I get anything (hopefully this week)...

uscis site does not show updated information. Is it possible to check the oath que in Chicago office?

Hey my wife just told me her interview was actually on 11th of Dec so you both had the interview on same date.

As of now still nothing updated online or mailed. There must not be wait like this if you are approved. Wish it had same date oath

Both holidays fell on 2 Thursdays , so it's kind of a delay, as I was reading oath are done Tue & Thursday.

I just want to get over with this.

I'll keep you updated when I get the letter.

Wonder if she should do a info pass or wait for another week for any oath letter in mail?

same thing here! she is off on monday and tried infopass but there is no available slot on Monday. Once approved, there shouldn't be wait like this.
