How long until visa Issued?

Hi all-

My case has been on AP since April 10, 2014. Finally on Monday July 7 the status changed to ready, on Wednesday July 9 it changed back to AP. How long much longer until the status changes to issue? Do you think there might be a problem and we will be stuck on AP again?

Ready 07/09

AP 07/09 morning/afternoon

Issused 07/09 around 4:40

Dont worry soon it will change to issued.

Patieny, the more important is that changed to ready and after to ap, that is good news.

Did you see if when your status changed to ready the inmigrant visa changed to non inmigrant visa?

If you are applying for a k1 fiance visa, first the status says inmigrant visa, and when they are ready to issue the visa the status change to non inmigrant visa.

If that if your case, that the inmigrant changed to non inmigrant , you can start to celebrate, because sonn it will change to issue.

It changed from Immigrant to Nonimmigrant visa last week but it stayed on AP, that's why I was nervous. I'm hoping it changes to Issued today!

DNA Administrative Processing

04-10-2014: Our case was put on AP pending results of fiance and our sons' DNA test.

04-14-2014: Fiance had DNA sample taken in Santo Domingo.

04-15-2014: Embassy contacted me to make appt. for our son to have DNA test. Appt. made for April 17 in Brooklyn, NY.

04-17-2014: Our son had DNA sample taken in Brooklyn, NY

05-19-2014: Embassy received DNA results

06-04-2014: Visa approved! Letter sent to fiance to send his passport to the Embassy. (Letter never received)

06-18-2014: Sent passport and pictures to consulate via DomEx Santiago.

06-27-2014: Received letter in U.S. from Embassy telling us to send in the passport, letter was dated June 5, 2014.

07-07-2014: Status changed to READY!!

07-08-2014: Date changed status still "ready"

07-08-2014: Creation and status dates both changed. Also, changed from "Immigrant Visa" to "NonImmigrant Visa" status changed to AP

07-09-2014: Date changed status still "AP"

My case was pending DNA results. The consular officer actually gave of a choice of going to window 13 or getting a DNA test between my fiance and our son, since my fiance was extremely nervous and not answering questions correctly we chose to do the DNA; little did we know that it would take 3 months!

Thanks, but for the consulate that is garbage, they dont care about that.

Here I have red a lot of story about people in ap for years.

When I e-mail them , they answer was that they dont know when ap can end.

For me they are people without heart, that dont care about people feelings.

Here in DR when you go with a fake relationship they approve quicker that a real one.

I know people that go for a tourist visa with their own house, car and bank acount and are deny, and I know people that go with fake papers for house, car and fake job and get approved.

Like fake relationship, they dont investigate fake relationship but the real one they make the life miserable

I am no going to e-mail them any more, or do any inquire.

I will wait a little more, and if they dont do nothing I will ask for my passport back.

They dont have the right to have my passport for long time, even if the usa think that have the right , it isnt like that. All that they do it is because we let them do it.

I know you are hurting... and feel that you have been wronged. I really hope your visa comes soon... As I often saw you say.. I know you are hurting... and feel that you have been wronged. I really hope your visa comes soon... As I often saw you say.. Everything happens for a reason... we may not always knows why at first but in time we know... I can tell you this from personal trials and lessons learned.. The faster you accept whatever the situation is.. and find a way to trust and finally, REALLY Let go....... and Let God.... the faster the resolution comes.. often for me... nearly INSTANTLY!!!
