Hi all-

My case has been on AP since April 10, 2014. Finally on Monday July 7 the status changed to ready, on Wednesday July 9 it changed back to AP. How long much longer until the status changes to issue? Do you think there might be a problem and we will be stuck on AP again?

Thanks for your words.

Did you see if when your status changed to ready the inmigrant visa changed to non inmigrant visa?

If you are applying for a k1 fiance visa, first the status says inmigrant visa, and when they are ready to issue the visa the status change to non inmigrant visa.

If that if your case, that the inmigrant changed to non inmigrant , you can start to celebrate, because sonn it will change to issue. :)

My case was pending DNA results. The consular officer actually gave of a choice of going to window 13 or getting a DNA test between my fiance and our son, since my fiance was extremely nervous and not answering questions correctly we chose to do the DNA; little did we know that it would take 3 months!

Hey ILLMM!!! Look what I found while googling!!!!

9. It has been more than 60 days since I was placed in administrative processing, what
should I do?
Contact the consulate handling your application 60 days after the initial visa interview or submission of any additional documents, whichever date is later. However it is important to note the time period for administrative processing varies by country. You may wish to check the consulate website to determine the average time period for administrative processing. If a SAO has been pending more than 90 days, an attorney can inquire via email to the DOS LegalNet within the Visa Office or call DOS at 202-485-7600.
You should have your Petitioner USC Fiance contact them this way and inquire...

Thanks, but for the consulate that is garbage, they dont care about that.

Here I have red a lot of story about people in ap for years.

When I e-mail them , they answer was that they dont know when ap can end.

For me they are people without heart, that dont care about people feelings.

Here in DR when you go with a fake relationship they approve quicker that a real one.

I know people that go for a tourist visa with their own house, car and bank acount and are deny, and I know people that go with fake papers for house, car and fake job and get approved.

Like fake relationship, they dont investigate fake relationship but the real one they make the life miserable

I am no going to e-mail them any more, or do any inquire.

I will wait a little more, and if they dont do nothing I will ask for my passport back.

They dont have the right to have my passport for long time, even if the usa think that have the right , it isnt like that. All that they do it is because we let them do it.

I know you are hurting... and feel that you have been wronged. I really hope your visa comes soon... As I often saw you say.. Everything happens for a reason... we may not always knows why at first but in time we know... I can tell you this from personal trials and lessons learned.. The faster you accept whatever the situation is.. and find a way to trust and finally, REALLY Let go....... and Let God.... the faster the resolution comes.. often for me... nearly INSTANTLY!!!

Try it and let me know...

I often find that focusing on the good and finding ways to give my gratitude for all my many and mini blessings really helps change my focus.

I hope this helps...

LET GO AND LET GOD!

As children bring their broken toys

with tears for us to mend,

I brought my broken dreams to God,

because He was my friend.

But then, instead of leaving Him,

in peace, to work alone;

I hung around and tried to help,

with ways that were my own.

At last, I snatched them back and cried,

"How can you be so slow?"

"My child," He said,

"What could I do?

You never did let go."

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)
