Hello, just to have an idea

Who here are in ap at the dominican consulate and how long you have?

I am in ap from march, I was approved at the interview , they took my passport. I paid domex too.

And they put me in ap without missing any papers.

Really I dont know why is my ap.

Someone is in the same situation?

My fiance was approved back in December 2013 and til this day he is still in AP! Why? Have no idea. I have called, e-mailed the embassy and their response is when they are finished they will notify him. Mind you his chest x-ray has expired so he has to re-do x-ray again. So all you can do is wait patiently like we are. Hopefully everything will workout and the wait will be worth it. This is a long, stressful process for some of us. But all you can do pray and wait, and hope everything comes out ok. Good luck and I hope you hear something soon. Hopefully July 15 we will hear something!!!

Omg, I thought that I was the only one waiting long time, 3 months in ap.

Did they take his passport? Or did they give him back the passport?

I dont understand why they approved people and put in ap later, before they approved people they investigate people, so I dont understand what they do.

they have his passport since February 2014. So now I know from doing alot of reading. They may approve at the appointment, but the you go into AP! I've noticed some people are in AP a short time and some a lifetime. We also paid Domex back in December. Im praying he gets visa soon! It's been a journey!

I hope your husband get the visa soon.

But at the interview what they said to give him the passport back?

In my case they have my passport from the day of the interview.

I see by your prior post that your husband had to do the tb test, the 3 days test.

At least your husband was put in ap for the medical.

In my case I am in the limbo, no missing papers or medical, nothing is missing.

No medical issue, no police issue, no criminal records.
