Information on visiting

We submitted our K-1 package at the beginning of June, but had already purchased airline tickets for her to come and visit on June 20th. I was worried there might be trouble with her coming into the country. I read several posts here that recommended her bringing a lease, letter from her employer, etc. to prove that she was only visiting. So, she gathered up that stuff and head here. Now, she travels a lot and has been in and out of the US 6 to 8 times in the last 3 years. So, she is really familiar with passing through immigration in the US. This time it was a bit different. The immigration officer asked the purpose of her visit and she replied, "holiday." Then he asked other typical questions: how long are you staying? address where you will be staying, etc. All of that was normal. Then the officer hit her with a few that started making her nervous. Do you know anyone in the US? Yes. Who? She gave my name (he was clearly not looking for my name, but for her to say my fiance). How do you know that person? He is my fiance. He asked a few other questions and she was really worried she was going to get pulled and questioned more, but after that he stamped her in and told her to enjoy her stay. She had a tight connection, so she was afraid she might miss her connection, but all went well. I say all of this just to try and ease some other's anxiety. Just be honest and prepared to answer questions.
