Hi all! My husband goes for his medical exam Thursday in Santo Domingo. On the US side the website is under construction and the old link to the vaccine prices is gone. Does anyone know another place where they are listed? $180 USD for exam. I thought I remember vaccines costing ~$70 USD. Any information is greatly appreciated. (He will most likely need all. I doubt his family has/kept medical records from 1988 and on.)

I emailed them a few weeks ago and they told me it is $290 for the exam and the vaccines (180 + 110). My fiancee went last week and that was the price, but they price based on the time of year, so it could change, but that is the price that I know of right now. If you do not need all of the vaccines, they will refund you part of the 110.

An old form I saved from late 2012 indicated those peak/nonpeak charges as well. Seems like it's almost the same info. I just want to make sure he has the amount he needs...no surprises...but in the DR one never can be too sure. Thank you for this info.

I told my husband to take $400 in USD just to be sure. Are all fees paid together or separate? The way it's written it almost looks like the exam and vaccines are two different processes.

I'm not sure how they are paid (together or separate), but I do know that you will go in with a lot of money ... and you will come out with not so much money. :)

Lol. In he DR that makes me a nervous wreck. Same policy as Consulate - no cell phones etc.? I will not be there until 7/22, so Lorenzo will have to go it alone...

You pay together at the same window.

remember to your husband that doesnt listen people outside consultorios de visas, they are buscones, people who try to make money.

They will try to say him that he needs things but it isnt truth.

He needs passport, 3 photos style 2x2, and the money, be sure he take the change exact.

They dont like when people go with amount diferent to the cost of medical, they exact change.

Wow. To think that people try to scam money out of something so important. I will make sure he ignores those people outside.

Likewise I figured that exact change was necessary. He goes for photos tomorrow and the medical Thursday. Is it likely that he will have to return to pick up the results? I read where they only send the results to the Consulate if there is a problem.

Yea he will have to pick up the results. The trend seems to be 5 days before the cita date.. My hubby also paid 180 plus 29 for two shots.. Total 209. But like someone also said... I seen few weeks ago 320... N read about 290.. So just depends what they missing n season..
