Hi Guys!

I just want to know What documents did you Submit for your IV packet?

Are these the documents? or is there something else lacking?

- Bar-coded cover sheet from payment portal

- Cover letter (optional)

- Two passport-style photographs (2" x 2") of beneficiary (on the back, write: beneficiary's full name, date of birth, and case number)

- Copy of bio-data page of beneficiary's unexpired passport

- Original or Certified Copy of beneficiary's birth certificate, PLUS A PHOTOCOPY

- Original or Certified Copy of marriage certificate, PLUS A PHOTOCOPY

- Original police certificate(s)

and what company or office did you go to, to get your documents translated to english?

Thanks ahead for your help! :)

No you don't need to translate all the documents if they are in Spanish or English but if they are in other language they need to translate to English. And yes you will need all these original documents for your interview too. it was what i read i haven't had my interview yet. Good Luck :)

Just to play safe, im getting extra copies of my marriage and birth certificate. :) You also have to bring a new police certificate to the interview, right?

You received a checklist for AOS? What happened? What happened to your birth certificate too? Im glad that your going to have your interview in less than 2 month since your case completed at nvc, hope ours will be able to get that kind of schedule too and not having to wait longer.

You have any idea about the medical?

I really need help, gathering all the docu :)

Do I still need to bring a copy of these documents to the interview?

Hey Heytoot :)

Its very important that you try and take copies of everything you submitted, to your interview. This is just incase they misplace something.

Good luck !!

With the AOS I forgot to send the last page like an idiot. With the birth certificate I thought I sent the inextensa but they said I sent the extensa so I resent it... With the AOS the total/adjusted depends on the type of income tax u file so be careful... The medical they need their passport and interview letter. It's ranges from 290-350 I think... It depends on the season... They have to put up the results now

Do they tell you the result on the same day you did the exams or do you have to wait the next day? So I dont need to translate anything even the one that I have to mail to NVC?

Hola what do you need to know about medical? Make sure that for your AOS packet you put total income not adjusted. No translations needed for docs for interview

Heads up! NVC right now is slowing down, a lot of people including me haven't received the IV fee yet. :(

Yes uscis sent my case on the 13th of this month but they haven't gotten yet.

Hubby used the 1040 form so we put the total income instead of the adjusted gross income, because I read it here you have to use the adjusted gross when you use the form 1040ez i think, I'm not that sure. How was your medical? What kind of exam do they do? Did they give you the result same day? NVC is the one who schedule the interview for Dom rep, right?
