Traveling back to the US. Which line?

Hell all,

My husband received his combo card today. He is planning a trip back to the UK for a visit in a couple weeks. When he returns the US after his visit to the UK, which customs line does he go through at POE?

I was in the tourist line. He only has combo card, so he isn't a resident yet. I asked in the airport and that is where they directed me to (that was in Houston, if it helps). He will go through mandatory secondary inspection, which was a breeze for me, I basically sat down in a room for 5 minutes, then were called to a window and handed the passport with the "paroled into the US" sticker on it.
