Hi I am waiting for my interview scheduled. How long does it take to schedule an interview in Los Angeles, CA nowadays? It is a marriage based green card.

According to USCIS, they are now processing I-485s from Sep 2013. Does that mean is it taking almost 8 months to process this?

I am curious because I already booked my honeymoon. We are leaving on Aug 31 and coming back on Sep 10. Just curious if we will get the green card before Aug 31! How fast is it nowadays? Should I apply for I-131 now?

Anything would be appreciated.

Mar 31 / Accepted. Initial Review

Aprl 9 / Biometrics Test

April 23 / Fingerprint Accepted. It says: Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.
