Greetings,

My fiancee and I are putting together the paperwork to file I-129F and I have some questions regarding her family history and form G-325A. She was adopted at a very young age (she isn't sure when), her adoptive father passed away and her adoptive mother remarried which caused her family name to change. The name change is evident on the bio info form. She will be traveling to her home town to get her birth certificate and other information that we may need.

1. What informaiton should we include with G-325A? Is a signed statement explaining the name change enough or is she going to need to try to find adoption paperwork and marriage certificates that show the family name change?

I am in the US and she is in Beijing, China.

Thank you!!
