Quick question, guys.

My fiance had to undergo a medical exam this past summer because he was applying for a Chinese work visa. (We both almost went to teach overseas in China, but then we found out that I was pregnant.) Now, my question is this: Would it be possible for him to skip the K-1 medical exam and use his results from the other exam IF they were the same exam and done by an approved doctor by the U.S. embassy? I'm assuming the Chinese embassy requires very similar exams. Now, I know that we won't have a definitive answer until we call the embassy and ask, but have any of you heard of a situation like this before?

Thanks!

Not exactly sure the answer to your question. I'm pretty sure the medical results are valid for 6 months BUT I do know that they give you forms that you have to bring with you to the interview.

Just a heads up, we got the packet #3 at the embassy and there was a SURPRISE extra document that has to be singed by the sponsor and included with the affidavit. Check out my post... So disappointed cause like you our affidavit already arrived to CR.
