Going over our credit reports, we found that a prior alternate mailing addressed we used is still listed. It's the same physical building as where we live with my mother in law, just two mailboxes side by side. It's a mailbox placed beside my mother-in-law's mailbox. The address was used only as a secondary mailing address, and mailbox was placed by, advice of mail carrier when we got married in 2002. We do not use this address currently, and it is not used as a primary mailing address.

Could we have a potential problem by not listing as a 'Past Residence used in the last five years'?

Sat down and talked it over. Afte scouring around online, we think the best thing would be for her to just go into the interview and ask the AO if they need the address or not. Explain it's just the address is just a box placed beside my mother's box (house address is **7, the secondary box is **5) and the home address is what we listed, and since it's just a mailbox beside a mailbox and not our "residence" we didn't think it needed to be listed. Let the AO decide if he needs to add it to the N-400 or not.

Better to be up front and ask, the something cause a glitch in the works down the line.
