Hi all,

been reading this and other forum for a few weeks now and got a few pieces of info here and there but I did not find one in a same situation as mine.

1. came to the US as j-1 in 2004,2005,2006, 2008

2. in 2006 tried to change from j-1 to b2. no success and finally got a letter askign me to leave in 2007, which I did.

3. In 2008 applied and got j-1 again.

4. 2008 came on j-1 then changed to f-1

5. 2013 married filing for AOS.

a. Now, I did not always update my address, so what can happen if I put all the addresses into the bio info sheet?

b. At times I maintained two residences - two cities at the same time. How do I put it out there?

c. I don't have the old ds2019's but one, it says not a subjct to the 2 year rule. All j-1 visas in the passport say the same. Is the passport enough to prove that 212e does not apply?

d. I worked when I was not authorised. I did however file tax returns each year and paid all taxes due. Again, how does it affect my chances of AOS?

I did consult an immigration lawyer, who said this history is not a problem, since I am not a student of special interest (as in Muslim from a high-risk country, becasue those are removed if fail to update address).

Thanks for your input.
