Hi,

I was trying to apply for financial aid and I'm at a roadblock because they need my Selective Registration info. I was registered automatically when I applied for an ID in 2007 and as an F1 student, I didn't have a Social Security Number. When, I got the registration acknowledgement card, the Social Security Number part was blank. At the time, I didn't pay much attention to it and just kept it with my other records. Now, as an LPR, the financial aid office at the university I'm applying to, needs this information.

Does anyone here have any idea on how to update my Selective Registration with my SSN? On the https://www.sss.gov/RegVer/wfAddressChange.aspx, it only mentions address change. I've been calling their phone but I can't reach anyone. I'll try again on, Monday. Should I just submit a copy of my old selective service card (without the SSN) to financial aid office? Or, do I update the info on my card before continuing the financial aid process? If so, how?

Thanks
