Hi everybody,

Last Nov. 14, 2006 all the check payments for my AOS application were already encashed.

I noticed there are printed numbers at the back of each check, what are these numbers for?

On the upper left side there are few numbers with MSC initials and on the right side there's 2 sets of numbers; one is with arrows in between and the second set of numbers is printed bigger than the other set.

Any significance of these numbers? Kindly answer if you know it and thank you very much!

Actually in my case the MSC numbers on the back of my checks were not the file numbers, but a few digits off. I added 2-3 to the final digit and that was my file number.
