Medical going to expire soon.

Hi,

I had my visa interview done on 4th of October 2012 at London embassy. On the interview the consular said to me my application will require additional administrative process. She gave a blue paper. After that on 19th of December embassy sent me an email they are ready to continue my immigration visa process. So I've sent my passport on 2nd of January 2013. They received it on 3rd of January. After one month I've sent an email to them to embassy ask about the process. They replied me it was determined that my application would require additional administrative process. Now I'm still waiting. My medical will expire on 5th of March 2013. Now can anyone have idea how long it might take.If anyone can give me some idea I'll be grateful to you.

I don't have an answer, but would like to know as well. My husband also is in AP, and we are quickly approaching the 6 month mark for his medical (because it took two months from the medical to receive his visa appt). We would like to extend for a month or two beyond the medical expiry date, but don't know how to do this. does he just make another appt in London? Where do his records go? Will they send a copy to him? So many questions, and difficult to find answers! Oh, and does he need another Police Certificate! It's all so frustrating - that he was put into AP. It's completely messed up our timescale and plans.

I thought the medical exam was valid for 12 months.
