We have reached the stage where we are filling out the affidavit of support forms. I KNOW that I don't qualify on my own as I've been a fulltime student living on private student loans for the past few years. As such, my mom has offered to be a co-sponsor. I'm 24, but I live with my mom because renting a place in California proved to be too expensive for either of us on our own. We split all rent and utilities 50/50.

I know that I fill out an I-864, but I'm not sure how to work the finances that my husband and I still have separate (ie: his personal bank account)

Also, would my mom fill out an I-864 or an I-864A.

Kind of a secondary question: how do I know if I am able to email forms in pdf format instead of having to mail them. I'm currently in the UK on a visitor visa and I want to get things done as quickly as possible.

Thanks a lot!
