Packet has not arrived to fiance

When I called the embassy they told me when the interview date was (October 3rd) and that the packet was sent to my fiance on August 22nd. They said it should take 1-2 weeks to get to him because of where he lives. It's been two weeks now, and the packet has still not arrived. Should I call the embassy again?? Or still wait? I know it has all of the instructions for him on what to do next, and about the medical exam etc. I don't want to wait too long because I want to make sure we have everything done when it needs to be done. Please advise! Thanks

I would suggest you call them back and see if they can possibly email it to you. I wouldn't want to risk it... October 3rd is just right around the corner and you need enough time for the medicals. At least see if they can email you the interview letter so that your fiances can at least start getting his meds. done.

My fiance called the embassy on Friday, I believe, and they told him that if he still hadn't received the packet 15 days before the interview to call them back. In the mean time we have made sure that we have all of the paperwork done and everything that we need besides the medical exam. It recommends that it be done at least 5 days before the interview. Darn mail!!! Just wish it didn't take so long!!
