My wife filed the N-400 under 319(b). We received an email on 30Jun asking us what dates she would like the interview. We emailed back 23Jul. Do we wait for a letter? The first date was 9Jul so that would be really quick to receive a letter (we are overseas). We have not received an email or letter since. What should we do? The 23rd is coming up quick, so we need to buy plane tickets.

Is there a phone number attached to the email, if so call them, if not, you should try emailing that same email address and ask whats going on? Where are you and what office are you hoping to go to?

I applied for citizenship under 319(b), I found the email address of Fairfax VA and emailed them my requested dates, they actually sent my request to BosMil (it was close to where I was going to be visiting) and from there I was contacted by both email and phone and they were great, you really just need to push a little with the 319(b). By the way, my IO at BosMil told me that filing under 319(b) puts us under different rules for interview and oath, he said when filing 319(b) the interviewing office should do everything they can to get everything done in one day due to the fact we are coming from overseas and its an expensive enough process.

We filed with the Fairfax office. I emailed them today so hopefully we will hear something soon. We are in Japan. Did they send an interview letter?

They sent my request for interview to BosMil, who in turn contacted me by phone and email. No interview letter just phone and email.
