Dear VJers,

I have used an attorney for filing my n400 application and he has filed a G28 appearance of attorney with my application.

1) Does everyone receive both a yellow letter and interview letter from USCIS after biometrics? Or do some folks only receive a interview letter?

2) Are these letters ( yellow and interview) sent to both the attorney and myself?

3) What are the documents ( interview letter, oath notice, etc) that get sent to attorney alone. Is it only RFE letters that get sent to attorney alone? I would like to recieve all correspondence from USCIS as well and not just the attorney.

please advise.

Thank you much.

Put it this way, your attorney get the news before you do till you are done!

Not everyone gets the yellow letter. Some people get the interview letter straight up.

Some get the yellow letter first, then the actual letter and vice versa.

The yellow letter, as I have come to realize and learn over the course of filing n400, is just a formality.

I wouldnt worry about it at all.

P.S if you do get the yellow letter, allow 2 to 6 weeks before the arrival of the actual letter.

I received my interview letter first then got the yellow letter weeks later requesting for my state ID and/or DL.

I went to my Interview and presented my British PP, GC and TX DL
