Question about fiance's daughter

I have called the NVC automated line several times and they did not have my approval there yet. I just spoke to a live person and she was very polite and told me we should wait at least 15 days. I wrote to the embassy and they informed me that I am not required to be there for the interview. But just my luck the American Embassy in Ankara, Turkey is moving and they are only serving US Citizens until the end of this month:)))They did send me the same link that is on VJ under the embassy information so that I can prepare my documents.

In the meantime we are gathering all the documents and have it ready to be mailed.

The approval notice states that it expires on June 27th of this year. The NVC representative told me that it does not matter, the visa does not expire, if anything we would have to fill out a form I539 at the POE. I'm confused but hopefully we'll be done with all this by June 27th.

I was filling out the forms last night and see that there is an option about dependents travelling together or following later on. Would it matter if my fiance's daughter follows later instead of travelling with him? She is a college student and would like to finish her first year of college there and freeze school for a year so that she can decide once she is here whether she wants to stay here or not.

When we do AOS later on for Resident Alien card will they question us to why she did not travel with him and will this cause problems?
