So I had my interview on June 6th in London and everything went well except for I was missing one piece of paperwork which was proof of citizenship for our joint sponsor (my father in law). The guy at the window said everything was fine and I just needed to send this and my passport and it would take a couple of weeks after that.

Today I checked the DX courier tracking and it said that the embassy had received the documents today. I telephoned the embassy to check everything was okay and the guy said that he didn't know and that because it was a blue form it sounded like I was in AP! He said it sounded like I had been refused until these documents were received and it could take around 90 days.

The blue form did not have the box checked that said I had been refused, just the box requesting the documentation. At the interview I was not told it was refused or in AP.

Now I have no idea if I am looking at 2 weeks or 90 days, my wife is due to give birth to our son on August 7th and I can't get answers from anyone at the embassy.

Silence is golden, but Duck tape is silver.
