Hi my name is Cathy, and im new at this whole thing...Me and my husband met online and are now married, we've been married 3 years going on four and we have a beautiful daughter. Now when we got married i moved down to the Dominican to live with him and had my daughter with him down there..we had to show proof of our marriage and so forth to get her her citizenship. I just recently moved back and applied for the I-130 to start the process to bring him here...now the lawyer i spoke to gave me a list of things to include with the I-130, she said we shouldnt have any problems...but i'm reading some of the topics here and everyone keeps saying about pics and other things to send with the I-130..that wasnt on my list from the lawyer..could it cause delays? We've been apart now almost 6 months(me in the states him in the dominican) i sent the packet in Feb 2011, Is there anything that i can send now to make it better? I was told they could just ask me for evidence on the interview...im soo confused..any help would be nice..thanks.

Don't worry. You can show evidence of your marriage at the interview. Sending evidence with your packet is actually optional and they dont require it from you. But you will need it for your interview to prove it is not a fraudulent marriage.

Best wishes! :)

Don't worry just wait. If they need any more documents from you they will let you know, but don't start sending in things "to make it better"...

I sent pictures with my I-130 petition but my case is different than yours, my husband and I don't have babies and we haven't really lived together for more than a couple of months each year and you have.

good luck, just wait!
