So I came in on a Visa Waiver in March 2004, went back home in June according to the waiver and came back in August again... all of this time being spent with my soon to be wife. In November my visa expires, I pack my things to leave when she tells me she can't do this back and forth thing and to either stay with her or go back. I didn't want to leave her so I decided to overstay my visa.... I didn't know too much about things at this point I figured there's always a way to take care of the legality and citizenship later. (Yes, you don't need to point out how naive/dumb this was)

Fast-forward to February 2005, we get married. We make plans to file the papers and get everything taken care of, with the help of this site and amongst other things. We keep postponing it and time goes on, and our relationship starts going sour. In March 2006 we separate, and we still keep in touch but not on a more than a very good friendly level. She now wants a divorce so we can move on with our lives.

I've gotten a whole new life started over in the US, and I don't want to leave. Is there ANY way for me to take care of this legally to make me a legal US citizen at some point or am I basically stuck living as an illegal until I get "caught" and deported or until I have to go visit family in Sweden and they put the 10+ year ban on me or is there anything I can do?

I realize I've messed everything up from the start and gone about things the worst way but I still need any help I could get. If you know of anything, please let me know.

Sorry, I'm with Kezzie. I'm not aware of any remedy for you. The overstay is only forgiven by marriage to a USC, so other visa types are out.
