Do they keep your passport between the medical anthe interview?

also how long is it usually between those two? Thanks.

The medical does not keep your passport at all. The embassy does at the interview.

The time between varies a lot in the UK.

I've seen some people get very fast dates, others much slower.

As far as I am aware, the UK embassy will not issue an interview date until after the medical is complete.

So hypothetically u could travel out of uk between medi al an interview?

Is that allowed?

As far as I'm aware, yes.

The only travel restriction is /after/ you get the K-1 visa, the next time you enter the U.S. it takes effect.

There is nothing that prevents you from traveling before that (between medical and interview) or from visiting other countries than the U.S. after that.
