So what? The point is that to have any relevance to your point, you have to be able to prove that significant numbers of migrants currently leaving the UK are doing so based on their perception that crime in the UK is not being adequately dealt with and that was one of the main reasons for their migration to Australia. If it turns out the the majority of Brits migrate due to watching episodes of Home and Away and thinking it would be cool to live in a surfing village, the numbers of migrants has no relevance whatsoever.

Yes, it's obviously a range of things Cleo, however, the point really was that Australia is probably more of a police state than the UK.

Tangent Alert!

You couldn't answer a legitimate question in detail, even if your life depended on it. This Yiddish dance around details is what you have done for years now. It's also why any discussions with you is utterly pointless. Your posts usually entail you telling people they are wrong but never providing any details or alternative of your own.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Again, so what? Unless you can prove there is a correlation between people moving from the UK to Australia because 'Australia is probably more of a police state than the UK' (whatever that's supposed to mean), then the numbers of migrants is irrelevant.

Whether or not Australia is or isn't more of a police state and what that actually means in real terms is another question again, one that is hardly of interest in this thread on the new Conservative led UK governments policy on National Identity cards.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

BY your posts amount to repeating yourself and the same talking points ad infinitum.

In any case, how many subjects is this thread about. So far you've gone off about the Conservatives being "lib yanks", CCTV surveillance preventing crime (sans evidence), you personal issues with me and now UK economic reform.

I think everyone has had enough of your dancing about. You're like a schizophrenic on speed.

What I like more is as per usual, your inability to answer any direct question let alone with details.

Ooh you repeated yourself again! I could set my watch by it.

As I can with you dodging any and every question. As a personal favor to my good old friend, it's about five minutes work to create the pike script, allowing you to post the same tired old responses to everything, using a single click.

Gotta go, as I am not interested in wasting any more time playing your silly games.

Since legitimate discussions are not an option with you, I'll use something more on your level.
