Hi guys,

I need a little help, i don't know anything related to visa stuff at all. I've been reading and researching for past couple days and got no where.

let me explain my situation first, My step dad is a US citizen married to my mom, my mom has a green card for roughly 10 years now and they've been trying to get me to the US.

so applied in 2000, uscis web says I130 approved in 2005. Still NVC always replied that case still in process. Now 2010, I emailed them couple days back and they replied "NVC is unable to determine the

date of birth for the petitioner. Please submit a copy of a government-issued document indicating the date of birth (e.g. valid passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate)."

My mom is the petitioner, does that mean they need to verify my mom date of birth? is it possible if I send it to them via E-mail? My mom also changed her first name twice! Do i have to translate the document in English and send those in to?

PS. I just noticed that they spelled my name wrong, will there be a problem later on? how do I fix it to match with my passport?

PS2. My dad just got a bill from NVC in mail. Does he have to pay now? or should I send the missing document in first?

I don't really know what to do after this , any help would be really appreciate. thanks, sorry if I posted in a wrong section but I think I'm in K3/K4 category. correct me if i'm wrong.

thanks
