Sad that the caucus needs to be reminded of the obvious. One would hope that Members of Congress are smart enough to be aware of the simple things.

They are. Some of them are very aware of the simple fact that voting for this Bill may see them out of office in a little over a year. To them, that's really simple.

Nonsense. The only sure way for a lot of he Dems to get kicked out of office is to again fail to deliver what they were elected to deliver.

Umm dude, you're in the minority. Look at the polls. America, including myself BTW, are absolutely happy with my HC and don't wish to partition my benefit, one I worked for my entire life, and redistribute it to those that have none......

Umm, dude, you're not the opinion the Democrats need to be worried about since you'd never, ever cast a vote for a Democrat. That said, there is a solid majority in this country in favor of reforming the broken, inefficient health care system which is bound to bankrupt the country if it isn't fixed. Great that you're happy with your current health care but that doesn't make much of a difference when you look at the big picture - that the system that provides the health care you like will bankrupt the country. There's no way around reforming the system. This should have been done decades ago but it can't wait another decade or two until even the last ideologue recognizes that it isn't working.

Oh, and relax, no-one is talking about taking your benefit away. That's between you and your employer.
