Hey guys,

Does the co-sponsor need to have earned enough money (according to USCIS guidelines) only in 2008 or in the last 3 years? I've been looking for a co-sponsor and a friend of mine has filed taxes and made 23,000 in 2008 but not in 2007 and 2006. She still has the same job she had in 2008 and is going towards the 23,000 mark this year again. Do you think she'll pass as a co-sponsor? We can also get a letter from her employer confirming that she's STILL employed and how much she will make this year and she has paystubs for this year too. I am just not sure if the co-sponsor has to have made enough money in the last 3 years or only in the last one which is 2008. I don't think she filed taxes in 2006 and 2007. Would it make a difference if she had filed taxes in 2006 and 2007 even if she didn't make enough money to sponsor me in those 2 years?

Thank you so much!!!
