Hi all

I just paid the 70 dollars for the AOS bill and waiting for the next step in my mother's application. But it gets complicated

I am a student currently and my source of "income" is through my financial aid school package of about 23000 but i dont file taxes because i dont have any other source of income and i am claimed as a dependent by my dad who makes little or nothing.

In that household, i also have my brother who files taxes with my 2 younger siblings as his dependents. Considering the number of dependents and not working part of earlier part of last year, he only made about 25000.

I know we can file as a household but do you think it might be affected by the fact that i do not file taxes.

It probably makes more sense to hold off until things get more financially stable but i am hoping she can come over before next year (i want her to be at my graduation)

This is complex but i would appreciate your honest advise.

Thanks
