Why do we really care if CA state worker's strike or not?? Letz be honest, Our own selfish existence is what really matters...

Tell that to CA's state workers...they get benefits unavailable to most people in the private sector, and at least they are still employed, unlike many who aren't paid with tax money.

and they want to b1tch and go on strike, unbelievable!

And brought to you by the same folks the caused the current mortgage crisis: SEIU and ACORN

I am starting to thing Glen Beck is right.

"While the media fawns at another "barrier" being broken, more important stories are being missed. And yes, the media stinks on ice, but this time it's not necessarily all their fault. Here's the one thing: The president is pulling a page from the community organizing playbook and he's overwhelming the system."

Actually, Bill Clinton signed the bill into law that eased lending laws, so more people could be home owners (whether they could afford to or not).

And Bush did as well, pushing more home ownership. But the grass roots effort, that compounded the problem to the point of crisis, was the same machine that got Obama elected.

yes, and further, shady mortgage lending businesses sprung up, and literally recruited pizza delivery guys, and Best Buy employees to become "loan officers" with 1/2 hour worth of training. These people signed up unsuspecting first time homeowners into these liar-loans, stated-income only, exotic ARM lending with 2 or 3 different lenders in on the mortgage. Then, had these mortgages sliced and diced and balled up into CDO instruments that were sold to Wall Street and "insured" by AIG. Wow!

In a nation created by criminals, dead beats, religious zealots, and adventurers, it's all too easy to find a sucker looking for a short cut to Easy Street.
