Seriously, after being exposed to The Sun during my formative years, anything the American media comes out with is pretty harmless in comparison. Having said that though, there are excellent media resources in the UK and tv interviews with politicians are not picnics.

The Sun is appalling but it can be funny sometimes - it knows what it is and doesn't hide from it or pretend to be something it is not. The Daily Mail however purports to being a voice of reason, yet it is one of the worst fear mongering publications out there. It pretends to be better than any other paper but is, in fact, the worst of them all.

This teen pregnancy is hardly the watershed of outrage, nor are the street crime stats which remain relatively low despite crazed headlines of 18% increases.

Even the gun crime is statistically insignificant.
