"Can anybody help us ? " Our approved I-129F Petition packet was supposedly mailed to the US Embassy in Doha, Qatar sometime around the week of Nov. 10th of 2008. It is now Jan. 10th of 2009 and my fianc'ee has not received her K1 packet as of yet. I called the National Visa Center last week and they said the packet was sent to the Embassy in Qatar, but said they didn't have a tracking number. Hmmm! On Jan. 7th of 2009, I sent an email and left a voice msg. on a Consulates phone and have not heard back yet. If I don't hear back by Jan. 15th, would I be premature in asking for my Congresswoman's assistance? We think that our petition packet may be lost.

Thanks to anyone for their help in this matter.
