Hello Everyone,

We received a letter in the mail today that our request for the removal of the conditional basis of my wife's permanent resident status has been approved. SHe will receive her 10yr Green Card in approximately 60 days. We didnt have to go for an interview or anything. We got this letter approximately 9 months since the 2 yr card was extended for another year.

Thanks to everyone for your help and support since the first time I applied for the Fiance Visa.

God Bless You All!!!

Hi Kalrouthu,

:star: Congratulations, Kalrouthu for your wife getting her 10yr Green Card!!! :star:

After such a long 9 month wait, she deserves it! It's good to know that the VSC is doing something, even if it takes a long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for your wife, Kalrouthu!

Good luck too on the Citizenship application and the rest of the immigration journey!

Ant (Still waiting at the VSC...)

P.S. Since you applied for the I-751 at the VSC, you can add your name and information to the following "VSC I-751 Status List", as this is helpful to all VJers here. Thanks!:
