So i have called the embassy call center here in the UK and number of times this week and explained my situation, that my I-130/CR-1 is now complete at the NVC. They told me that in that case the CR-1 over rides the K3 and that i should email the Londom embassy to request that they pull the case from the NVC for friday the 5th (today), and if they cannot do that they will reshcdule another appointment. I sent this email Monday i have yet to recieve an email back. Anyway i have called the NVC on Tuesday to ask if they can forward it, they said that request needs to come from the embassy in London. I called the call center (who are rubbish and don't know anything except the email address for the embassy) i asked if there is any other way of getting hold of anyone, so that i can be clear in what i am meant to be doing. They said no, just wait for email response. I was so worried that it will look awful that i just have'nt turned up for my interview this morning. I called the call center yesterday and explained that i am worried and that i just dont know what to do. They told me not to worry and that it wont look bad, that if i sent an email then i will be fine. I just feel awful, someone else could of had that appointment.

It annoys me that they have'nt got a better communication process in place, i mean if they are going to use emails, and codes in the subject line, (you can only get the code from the call center) you would think that they would have a code to alert the embassy that this email requires urgent attention.

Anyway theres my rant.

No, i live up in Derby, 3 hour drive if traffic is good. Would of cost loads on train, and not sure they would have train for that time in morning, so probably would of had to stay over night.

I guess it will be fine. It's just horrible not knowing
