will it take longer to receive authorization to work in the USA if we file the I-485 first and then submitt the I-765?is it better and faster to file these two forms at the same time?

The answer to this question will also determine how we answer #16 on the I-765 and how we answe #16 also determines where we mail our application and fee and other documents. If anyone can asnswer these questions we would appreciate it. thanks

If you have a K3, you can send in the application for EAD separate from the AOS, yes. It will take the same amount of time, usually less than 90 days. However, you will have to pay a separate filing fee for the EAD, as well as the full AOS fee of $1010.

If you file the EAD application separately, you will receive a 2 year EAD. If you file it with the AOS, you will get a 1 year EAD.

Do it whichever way is better for you.
