My new wife and I are currently in the process of AOS for her K1 visa.

I am currently not employed because I am a full time college student and so I opted to have my mother be my joint sponser. My question is, does my mother file both an I-864 and I-864A form or just one of them?

I obviously have to file an I-864 regardless of my lack of income at the moment. In Part 5 letter g on the I-864 it says "OPTIONAL: If you have siblings, parents, or adult children with the same principal residence who are combining their income with yours by submitting Form I-864A, enter the number here." Do I mark a 1 here since my mother is joint sponsoring, and my residence is the same address as hers?

Also in Part 6 #25 it asks for Tax Return information, but I don't know what to put here for myself since I don't have any tax return information for the past 3 years. Should I leave this whole area blank and unchecked?

Lastly, do we need to have all of these forms notarized?

We have almost the same question

I am filing for my husband, and i dont have enough income. And my mother will sign I-864 form for us.

Since i dont meet minimum requirement do we have to both file it? or just my mum has to fill it?

I am assuming that i have to file I-864 with no income and my mother has to fill I-864A and sign it? is it correct?

Please advice about that

Thanks
