How recent do I-134 documents need to be?

We just got approved on June 26, so we still have a ways to go...but I was wanting to know when I should start gathering up my I-134 documents? I am attending the interview with him. I wouldn't mind trying to gather them in August, just to get it out of the way...but don't want to do that, only to find out they would be considered expired by the interview. Also, I am supposed to have a co-sponsor, so I need to know when I should start asking him to do the same. It feels like my uncle will probably take months. :s

We are hoping we'll get our interview date by late October...but bleh, I don't have my hopes up too high, considering we don't know when NVC will get our petition & all of that other hoopla.

OHHHHH the joy of endless paperwork!

Hi Boohbah,

We got approved on May 15th and my interview is on July 17th so it might go faster than you think. Not sure how long I-134 is valid for so I can't advise you on that part.

All the best

Thanks for that, hopefully ours will go fast too!

I'm kinda frustrated since we never even received our NOA2 hard copy yet, so it makes it feel like it'll take forever. It's been almost 2 weeks. Don't understand why it's been so freaking annoying to simply receive my hard copies from USCIS. :(

Does anyone know if my fiance needs to send his birth certificate with his packet 3...or can it be brought to the interview instead?
