Applied for K1; can now apply for L1A/B through employer

Hi

I have applied for a K1 visa; it has been several months since NOA1 (end of March) and we are anxiously awaiting NOA2. My employer indicated that it may be possible to transfer me to the US headquarters on a L1A/B Visa.

I am aware that the L1 visas are dual intent and that it should be possible to marry and adjust status in the future, however, I am concerned about my employer filing for an L1 visa on my behalf my while my K1 visa is being processed - would doing this jepordise my K1 visa, or cause me problems when I eventually apply for AOS (if done while present on an L1 visa)?

The two processes (work vs marriage visa) are completely different animals, having no effect on the other's process.

Basically, if you get the L-1A and go to the US, you will not be present for the K-1 interview, so the AOS will then be from the L1-a.
