Embassy Review : I arrived 45 minutes early due to not wanting to be late stopped off got a cup of tea then headed over to the tent at 11am where a few people was in line, I showed the lady my letter she took it inside then said come back in 15 minutes outside as it was a lovely day. After 15 I went in through security the usual airport style just checking for normal stuff no issue at all here. Walked through the doors through to the other building where I walked up to the desk the lady asked me what I was there for and gave her my letter and passport where she stuck stickers on them both. It was 11.17 an andshe said go up in the elevator and as soon as I got to my floor a lady st the desk pointed me in the direction of where the interviews was taking place. It was quite quiet only say 5 people but also a family of six . After about 15 minutes I got called to the first guy he asked me the standard questions why I was there, name of my fiancée , where she work , how we met, tookl my paperwork and gave me my ray on a dvd, took both sets of finger prints .It was hard to hear him at times as he was talking while walking away to photocopy everything. I went say back down and waited 20ush minutes as I was behind the family of six and only one lady to do the secondary interviews, she called me up and asked a couple questions where we meet, where I’m going to live and she said everything looks good congratulations you with have your passport and visa withing two weeks.
There really isn’t anything to worry about just be honest and let the love for the one you want to marry show.

Overall the staff was great all very friendly fly and helpful.
Rating : Very Good

Embassy Review : I’ve have been to sfo quite a few time so I knew what to expect as for me the wait times can be random sometimes I get through customs in ten minutes. This time I got off the plane as two others landed and the custom officers made me go in the line on the right and wouldn’t allow me to go in the repeat visitors line due to have a k1 visa so took me 1.5 hours just to get through the initial line.
I got to the first officer he took my packet and finger prints then called for an escort as I have to be processed via secondary. This guy asked me zero questions just said hello and asked how I was.
I was escorted to secondary which was a small room with several officers I say and waited ten mi items to be called up and the woman said welcome to the USA and stamped my passport then asked me when the wedding was and have a good day.
It was so simple and the officers was all so polite.
I had to go have all my bags x-rayed and then I was out of there.
I say try not to land at lunch time as there will be less staff on and the lines ofcourse will be longer.

Embassy Review : Our appointment was at 8.45am we got there just before 8 and parked up around the corner where you get 4 hours (the machine takes coins and its $1 an hour) We walked in around 8.20am no other people was there other than the security guards who asked for our ID's and letter then we went through the typical airport style security taking off all metals and removing our shoes pretty standard stuff. We went to the desk where a lady put a number on our letter and told us to take the elevator to the second floor where my finger prints and photo was taken we was asked to take a seat and wait to be called, there was approximately 20 people in the room but for all different reasons not just for the adjustment. We seen a couple people go into rooms who was also there for the same reason of us and found it funny when one couple got out all happy and high fived each other (it's always a good feeling seeing others get approved knowing how stressful and time consuming this process is).

We waited around 40 minutes then this friendly lady called our number then we was both got led to a room where she asked for our ID's again then asked us to pledge to tell the truth. She then proceeded with going through our massive file, we sent in a lot of stuff asking basic stuff like my name where we worked, how many times I've been to America and my wife to England. Just general basic stuff nothing in depth or too personal. She asked for things we now have joint like phone bills, insurance, bank etc we handed it over and she said my card delivered 1-2 weeks. She was really friendly and we had nothing to worry about as if your relationship is legit it be clear to them.

Everyone there was super nice and helpful, we bought 2 binders and 2 photo albums neither was looked at but it's always best to be over prepared. It took around 1 hour in total including the wait we had.
Within 2 hours the status updated to card being produced

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
