Embassy Review : Our interview was at 8 AM, but we arrived at about 650, the line was very long and we probably didn't enter the embassy till about 720, however, interviews are more about who came first so I assume the time doesn't realy matter as long as you arrive well before your interview time. I (petitioner) brought my passport to get in. We got passed security which was normal, just leave your phone at home, we were amazed at how many people had trouble getting into the embassy because they brought their phones. Once we got passed security we arrived to some outside benches where we sat on the residency side, we waited around 15 minutes and we're ushered into the embassy building, at this point we were lead right into a line that lead to the officers windows. Once we were called up, the officer asked for a few documents such as legalized in extensa birth certificate, papel de buena conducta de policía, medical exam results and that was about it I believe. He was very kind, he asked us for phone numbers and an email, after which he told us to sit and wait for our interview, which we did. We waited probably 15 more minutes until our number popped up on the screen, and we went up and were sworn in. We were asked a few questions and after less than 2 minutes he said su visa fue aprobada, I hugged and kissed my fianceé and we left the embassy with smiles and all. Our interviewing officer was also very kind and I will never forget that man, it was a a great day. The visa process overall took about 5 months in total with an RFE.
We left the embassy at around 9:15AM
