Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 15, 2016
Embassy Review : I actually arrived really early as my appointment was at 12:30. I arrived at 10:30 via Paddington i went to the tent at 10:50 after visiting Starbucks. They were really nice and they let me go in early. When I got in there were lots of non immigrant visa people and I was sat there for about 30 minutes before being called. They called me to the door where they took my original documents and my fingerprints. They said to wait about 30 minutes for my interview I think it was about 40 then I was called. I had a really nice lady interviewer Who put my mind at ease. She asked me how I met my fiance and what we did for jobs. She also asked me what our wedding plans are. then she said your visa is approved I was so surprised as it was so simple. I am relieved and happy 2 have this first hurdle completed. Overall it was so much easier than I thought but I felt like where's my medal??? Lol. I guess i'll feel more triumphant when i get my visa!!
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Chicago
Event Description
Entry Date : 2016-7-13
Embassy Review : Absolutely no issues, not a single question asked. Processed paperwork said where he was sending it. I had more issues with the airlines with baggage than with POE. Chicago was a very easy POE.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
