Comments : We arrived at the embassy at 5:45am and there was already about 200 people out there and lined up. There were lines separated by what kind of visa you are applying for such as : residencia(residency),paseo(visitor).
So we stood in the residencia line and at about 6:30am a embassy worker separated the lines by appointment time. Then they started letting people in but makr sure you have your appointment letter in hand because they will ask for it when you get to the front of the line. We finally made it through security at about 7:30 after being turned away because we had an umbrella in which we had to again wait in line. Once we were in the other building we were given a number. Then we waited patiently for our number to come across the monitors. Might I suggest bring a sweater because it is freezing inside the embassy. Once our number was called wheb went to the window and was asked for:birth certificate(inextensa),confirmation letter,DS 160,1 passport picture, and my birth certificate. Once we gave her all the papers she sent us to window 31 to the cashier(caja) to pay the $265. We then returned to the window with our receipt. She then sent my fiance(beneficiary) to window 1 to be fingerprinted and to have a seat and wait for our number to be called again. Once we were called to window 23 where we were sworn in. She asked 3 simple questions:
1-How did we meet?
2-Who was a person in 1 of our pictures
3-And what kind of work I do?

She then had him write my full name and sign. After that she told us congratulations your visa is APPROVED!
I was so overjoyed. Overall we had an excellent experience. I definitely feel that all of the proof and pictures we sent in the petition packet was also a big help.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
