Harassment Level : 0
Comments : I was in line for around half an hour, I was worried I would miss my next flight, but it was cancelled so time didn't matter. When I finally handed over my package, he took finger prints and a photo and asked me to follow him. I can't remember if I was asked any questions.
I was taken to another room where my packet was handed to another agent. I sat for around 15 minutes before being asked to go to another room with less people in it. After 5 minutes I was called to the window, asked questions about my relationship and wedding date and then I was handed back my passport and welcomed to the country. Although nervewracking, very easy.

Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 22, 2015
Embassy Review : I arrived for my 8AM appointment early and waited in line for a about an hour. Have to go into one line to confirm arrival and I was given a number and then another to go into the consulate. When I got in I went to sit down and wait for my number to be called. After 30 minutes I was called for a few preliminary questions with a very nice gentleman. Then I was told to sit again. I waited for about 2 hours this time I think, maybe less, and they skipped my number, which I was assured that this can be common. When finally called I was seeing a different gentleman this time. He asked me questions about me and my fiance, like what we did for a living, how long we'd known each other, when we were getting married ect. After about 5 or 10 minute he told me he'd approved my application and I was all done!
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
