Event Description
Review Date : June 16, 2015
Embassy Review : Interview was 6/9/2015. We arrived at 6am a per all posts on site suggested. Our appointment was at 10am. A lady out side the consular told my husband that everyone in line when we first arrived had appointments at 6 am and 7am. So we went down the street and sat for awhile. We walked back around 8am , went thru security by this time there was not many people waiting to go thru security. We got a number #300. We waited for like 2 1/2 hours and we were called to window # 30 we gave her the original marriage certificate, birth certificate , divorce certificate, police certificate, pass port and appointment confirmation. We were told to wait until called again. We waited for like another hour and 45 minutes and were called to window 24.

Nice man asked me if I spoke Spanish , I said yes .
Asked my husband if he spoke English , he said a little . So he told me he would conduct interview with me in English and my husband in Spanish. He swore both of us in .

To me 1 ) How we met ?
2) Where I work?
3) What my occupation was ?
4) How many times I visited my husband ?

To my husband 1) do you have family in usa?
2) Where does your spouse work?
3) What is spouse occupation?
4) How long spouse has been at her job?
5 ) How many times spouse visited ?
The officer than starts to hand piece of paper to us stating .... here is the problem since my husband lived in Panama for more than a year they needed the police certificate from Panama . I told officer hold on and showed him the letter I wrote Panama back in Jan along with money order receipt for the police certificate and advised him Panama never wrote back. He was typing on computer. And said Ok you have showed good faith that you tried to obtain it. Asked my husband for finger prints. and said Felizadads .. Aprobadad.. He said visa will be delivered in aweek. No photos were asked for . We kissed and left

Hi. How are you? Congrats on having the visa! My husband and I are currently going through the process, submitted ther petition and received a notice of action stating they received it. Any advice? Wanted to know how long it took for you to get the visa after the interview? Wanting to know how soon we could travel after the interview Thanks Ash

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
