My fiance and I went to Cancun ( Mexico) first to celebrate our approval on the K-1 visa before we flew together to the United States.
I was checked three times at the Mexican border and one more time before I actually went on the flight to Denver (USA).
I was literally, the last person in line to go through customs and border security with my paperwork, the people from Homeland Security allowed my fiance to go with me through the checkpoint.
I handed my sealed envelope to a friendly officer, and she checked if everything was in order, she pointed me out what I needed to do from here on in and wished me a warm welcome to the United States.javascript:emoticon(' ')
