hello Everyone!
here is my interview experience for 06-13-2012 (green card approval)

so allow your self extra 5 -10 mins to find the place (we took an extra 5 mins cuz we got lost) left home 6 got there 7:05 (our appointment was scheduled at 7.30) - doors open 7.30 on the dot we were the first ones in
we did a security check NOTHING MAJOR
handed the guy at the glass window our interview letter
he gave us a clipboard and a paper to fill out (basic info - name date phone #)
not even 5 mins passed and we were called in ( we were the first to hand in our letter at glass window but 2 other couples got called in before us which was fine by me)
the IO was a woman SHE WAS SO FRIENDLY. she showed us to her office. before we sat she made us do the oath
as we sat down something felt so at ease and natural
she asked my husband his name his DOB his address
she asked him to state my full name
he asked him if he was married before and if he had filed a petition for anyone before (all no - keep in mind she was very at ease nothing serious )
she then asked me my moms and dads first name my sons DOB and if my son was born in the united states (yes he was)
she then asked me a series of questions about if i ever used drugs if i was affiliated with a communist party etc things that were all OBVIOUS NO answers
that probably took us into 3 minutes
by that time she then asked if we would like to show any documents proving we do live together (i was a tad over prepared) i showed her bank statements, deed for house in both our name and a life insurance policy where i am the beneficiary) I also gave her pictures and she just watched ONE OR TWO and passed it back ....
after that she said u all have been approved and by this afternoon we will get an update whether its a 2 yr or 10 yr seeing we have been filing taxes and living together sine 2009 (but together since 2007)
all in all we were outta there in 5 mins. VERY VERY FRIENDLY
BUTTTT I am warning everyone - THIS WOMAN IS FANTASTIC at her job she has abt 20 years experience in this field of immigration (small talk by my husband led us to the reveal she used to work in Oklahoma before and was a deportation officer) SHE KNOWS REAL FROM FAKE! maybe thats why we were such a breeze!
Thank Allah !
for everyone reading this interview locally GOOD LUCK! be urself AND BE HONEST
