We finally did get the great news that my interview was scheduled on oct.17 2006.
The week before I first had my medical. The x-ray was pretty easy and was fast spent money
At the doctor the asked me to hand them the filled out papers and the doctor called me in for bloodwithdrawal to check on HIV and Syffilis. The medical was so easy, weighing, lenght and check my lungs and bloodpressure.
Important is to have your vaccinationsrecords up to date. People born before 1985, need a MMR shot, because they diodn't give these to kids before them as a cocktail.

The day at the embasy went easy aswell. The only thing that wasn't good were my passport size picture, eventhough telling the photographer, they didn't approve of the size and I was sent back to get the right size taken somewhere in Amsterdam, luckily there was one close by .
I handed my pictures, affidavit and after I had to wait for about half an hour.
I was called to another booth and they asked me to raise my hand and swear that the files were truth to my best knowledge.
The man asked me a few questions as where we should live. since we are going to look for a place to live together, we'll be staying at my mother-in-laws house for a few weeks, he asked if I liked her, because otherwise it would be hard . He handed me an enveleope with the X-ray and the vacciantionsheet to bring in my checked luggage.
Within two days I received my passport in the mail, together with the sealed package.
On november 15th I'll be flying to the USA.
